Wednesday, February 1963BELLE LAIZURE DIES AT 82 YEARS OF AGE
Belle Laizure of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Tuesday Feb. 26, at a nursing home here. She was 82 years of age.
Miss Laizure was born in Madison county, Jan. 10, 1881, a daughter of William and Nancy Lowe Laizure. Her life was spent in this community. At one time she was engaged in the millinery business here. She was a member of the Methodist church here.
Nearest surviving relatives are a brother, Albert Lee Laizure of Winterset and a sister, Mrs. Kate McDonald of Zanesville, O.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Winterset. Burial will be made in Chase-McDonald cemetery.
