George Allan Tuttle, 63, of Odessa, Texas, died of a heart ailment Nov. 17, 1998, at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 25) at Collins Funeral Home with Father Ed Pfeffer officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
George Tuttle was born June 17, 1935, in St. Louis, Mo., to Charles and Margaret (Guion) Tuttle. He was a resident of Winterset from age 1 until 1979, when he moved to Odessa. George was employed as a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one half-brother.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Oeth (husband Joe) of Farmington, Minn.; five brothers, Tom Tuttle (wife Donna) of Peru, Larry Tuttle (wife Shirley) of Chariton, Bob Tuttle (wife Glenda) of Winterset and Paul Tuttle and John Tuttle (wife Ilene), all of Norwalk; two sisters, Blanche Dykes of Des Moines and Betty Bone (husband Elmer) of Roseburg, Ore.; two half-brothers, Kevin Tuttle (wife Carol) of Brooklyn Park, Minn, and Alvin Tuttle (wife Linda) of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; four half-sisters, Judy Leedy (husband John) of Des Moines, Janet Moore (husband Don) of Minneapolis, Minn., and Joan Odell and Dottie Scharber (husband Dan), all of Northfield, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
