Wednesday, May 10, 1944LAWLESS BABY DIED ON LAST THURSDAY
James Dwight Lawless, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lawless, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines last Thursday. Had the baby lived two weeks longer, he would have been a year old. He was born in Madison county May 19, 1943.
He is survived by his parents; and five brothers and sisters, Phyllis, Helen, Betty, Robert and Billy. He also leaves a grandmother, Mrs. Will Eyerly of Macksburg.
Funeral services were held from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home here last Saturday, with the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
