Bonnie Bumbarger

Bonnie Bumbarger of St. Charles died Friday February 8, at her home at the age of 57. Mrs. Bumbarger had lived in St. Charles for the past 18 years.

Born at Swan, Iowa, Mrs. Bumbarger had also lived in Winterset and Carlisle. She was a member of the St. Charles Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne; a son, Roy H. Shaffer of Des Moines; three grandchildren; two stepsons, Burnal Bumbarger of Winterset and Russell Bumbarger of Marion; a stepdaughter, Joyce Belew of Des Moines; two sisters, Betty Little of Illinois and Mary Black of Avon Lake; and three brothers, Carroll Bly of Des Moines, Glenn Bly of Pleasantville and Albert Bly of Swan.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle with burial at the New Virginia Cemetery.
