FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN WISCONSIN
Walter Alexander Crow Was Formerly Farmer in Webster Township
Walter Alexander Crow, former resident of Webster township, died at Eau Claire, Wis., last Saturday at the age of 74 years.
Mr. Crow was a native of Washington county, Pennsylvania, where he was born Aug. 9, 1869, the son of Jacob and Isabell Crow. In 1878 he came west with his parents in a covered wagon. They settled in Ford county, Kansas, for two years, before coming to Madison county.
He is survived by three brothers and two sisters: A. D. Crow and Carrie DeVault of Winterset, Dora Harpole of Patterson, Dr. Ira N. Crow of Fairfield, and Roy Crow of Creston.
Burial was made at Hayward, Wis.
