Diane JaNon Trostheim, 44, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly March 16, 2001, at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 21, at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial was at McCook Cemetery in North Sioux City.

Diane Trostheim was born June 9, 1956, in Creston to Leo and Darlene (Smith) Connelly. She attended school in Afton, graduating from Herbert Hoover High School in Toledo. A homemaker, Diane
married Robert Trostheim in February 1995.

She was preceded in death by her father and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Sioux City; her mother, Darlene Connelly of Lorimor; two daughters, JaNon Morris and Jesma Nelson, both of Sioux City; two sons, Terry Morris Jr. of Sioux City and Eli Morris of Hurley, Mo.; a stepson, Danny Borchers of Sioux City; five sisters, Cheri Aeschliman (husband Joe) of Winterset, Janet Connelly and Brian Leavy of Marshalltowns, Amy Wehrli (husband Scott) of Ogden, Patricia Hacker of Perry and Beth Connelly and Cora Gann of Sioux Falls; seven brothers, Joe Connelly (wife Vicki) of Creston, Paul Connelly (wife Liz) of Hurley, Mo., Kevin Connelly of Winterset, Patrick Connelly of Osceola, John Connelly (wife Nancy) of Afton, Dan Connelly and Jane Richards of Corning and James Connelly of Sioux Falls; and seven grandchildren.
