Dwight Albert Trester, 80, of Winterset died April 1, 1994 at Des Moines General Hospital. Funeral services were April 4, 1994 at the First United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Donald Frank officiated the ceremony, with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.
He was born October 14, 1913 in Winterset to Edwin and Mary Aice (Brittain) Trester. He married Flora Craig October 24, 1938 in Costa Mesa, Calif. He has been a resident of Winterset since 1987 and was a member of the Madison County Rock Hounds and the Genealogy Club.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Craig Trester of Winterset; one daughter, Doris Patrick of Canyon County, Calif.; one sister, Edna Aikin of Marshalltown; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
