Richard C. Kellogg, Los Angeles, Calif.

Richard C. Kellogg, 75, Los Angeles, Calif., died Aug. 16 from a heart attack. He was born Jan. 14, 1911, in Ottumwa and was a former resident of Winterset in the retail grocery business.

He moved to California in 1947. Prior to his retirement in 1976 he worked in retail for Local #77.

He is survived by his wife, Heddy; a sister, Helen of Bakersfield; and brothers, Dave of California and Ed of Arizona. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Diane K. McDonald, Cindy M. Bush, Barbara A. Kellogg, Robert C. Kellogg and Amy R. Kellogg, all of Winterset, and four great-grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew McDonald and Jennifer and Justan Bush, and a daughter-in-law, Colleen Kellogg Nicholl, also of Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Pearl Kellogg and his son, Richard C. Kellogg. His body was cremated in Los Angeles Aug. 18.
