Wednesday, May 12, 1954MRS. OTIS SPEER Of Patterson Dies
Mrs. Otis (Nellie) Speer, a well known resident of Madison county for many years, died Monday, May 10, 1954, at her home south of Patterson. She was 74 years of age.
Mrs. Speer is survived by her husband; and four sons, Ernest, Arthur and Warren Speer, all of near Patterson, and Howard Speer of Branson, Mo.
Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Patterson Methodist church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Eldon Haworth. Burial was made in Montpelier cemetery near Patterson.
