Mrs. Bradie B. Spencer, life-long resident of Madison county, died Friday, Nov. 18, 1966, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 81 years of age.
Mrs. Spencer was born at Truro Jan. 18, 1885. She was a daughter of Theodore and Emma Martin Stoneman. She was married to Tommy D. Spencer on Dec. 18, 1912. His death occurred in 1961.
She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are three sons, Forest and Robert Spencer of Peru, and Ralph Spencer of Des Moines. She also leaves 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two brothers, Orrin Stoneman of Osceola and William Stoneman of St. Charles.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Melvin R. Mattox. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
