Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Dott DeBoer of North Grand Care Center in Ames, Iowa. Her death at Ames occurred Monday, March 21, 1977.
Mrs. DeBoer was born September 15, 1884, in Owaneco, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Mary Ann Bradley Handel. Her marriage to Roy DeBoer took place in Illinois in 1902.
A resident of Madison County for three years, in Winterset, Mrs. DeBoer was a housewife, affiliated with the Christian Church. She was active in church circles and neighborhood clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy (Bernhard) Borckardt of Madison, Wisconsin; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Mrs. DeBoer was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1954 and by her parents and six brothers.
Officiating at Thursday's services in Rev. Alan Parker. Burial is to be made at the Winterset Cemetery.
