Funeral services were held in California for Mrs. George Hill of Long Beach, the former Daisy Pomeroy, who died at Carson, California, June 30th. She was 89.
Mrs. Hill was born near St. Charles the daughter of M. P. and Sarah Pomeroy and was raised in that community. She was married to George Hill who served as County Recorder in Winterset. They had moved to California several years ago.
Mrs. Hill was an aunt of Mrs. Lloyd Fleming of Winterset. She was survived by a daughter and several grandchildren. She had been preceded in death by her husband.
