Hildebrand Services Held

Robert Hugh Hildebrand of Winterset died Saturday, January 5, at Villa West Care Center at the age of 74. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 7, at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at North McDonald Cemetery with Rev. David Livingston officiating.

Born on March 26, 1905 in Madison County, he was the son of Scott and Sarah Barrows Hildebrand. He was united in marriage to Eliza Gladis Allen on December 7, 1929 in Winterset. Mrs. Hildebrand preceded her husband in death on January 31, 1975. Mr. Hildebrand was a farmer until his retirement in 1965.

Surviving are a daughter, Reva Riemann of Adel, a sister, Anna Allen of Winterset, and a grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
