Winterset Madisonian - Wednesday, May 22, 1946

Kenneth Edwin Monagon, 22-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Monagon of Peru, died this Wednesday morning at the state tuberculosis hospital at Oakdale. He had been in failing health since he was eight years old.

The young man was born near Peru June 30, 1924, and had lived practically all his life in the county.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a brother, Marvin Monagon of this community; and three sisters, Mrs. Wayne Hood of Winterset, Lois Monagon of Des Moines, and Lucille Monagon, at home.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed as the Madisonian went to press Wednesday.
