Services for Kay C. Wahlert, 55, Redfield, who died of cancer at her home May 5, 1986, will be held Thursday, May 8, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery in Redfield.

Mrs. Wahlert was born in Winterset July 5, 1930, the daughter of William R. and Elzera Kauble Kent. She was married to Ted Wahlert on July 3, 1952 at Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter, Hospice of Central Iowa and the Redfield Chapter of the Questers Club of Iowa. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1948.

Survivors include her husband, Ted; a daughter, Rosanda Thompson of Culpepper, Va.; sons, Randel of Dexter and Roger of Redfield; her mother, Elzara Kent of Winterset; a brother, Roderick Kent of Des Moines; a sister, Vieve Kirby of Richland, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
