February 27, 1963LITTLE GIRL DIES AFTER HEART SURGERY
Debra Sue Hedges, 3-year-old Des Moines girl who underwent heart surgery last Wednesday in Des Moines, died Friday.
The little girl was the daughter of Mrs. Deanna Hedges of Des Moines. She underwent the surgery at 8 a.m. last Wednesday. She lived until Friday at 9:15 a.m.
The child is survived by her mother, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred White; and her great grandmother, Mrs. Verlie Garrett.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Macksburg Methodist church with burial in Moon cemetery there.
