HARRY HAUN, JR. DIES IN ACCIDENT

Truck Driver Killed Friday In Crash on Highway In New Mexico

Harry C. Haun, Jr., son of Mrs. Anice Haun of Winterset, was killed Friday, June 2, in a truck accident on a highway near Deming N. Mex. He was 38 years of age.

Mr. Haun was living at Norwalk, Calif., and was employed as a truck driver.

He was a native of Graham, Mo., where he was born Nov. 15, 1928, a son of Harry C. and Anice Haun. Much of his life was spent in Missouri.

He was a member of the Methodist church at Maryville, Mo.

Surviving are his mother; a daughter, Linda, aged 15; a son, Mike, aged 12; three sisters, Mrs. Sue Tucker and Mrs. JoAnn Niblo of Winterset and Mrs. Betty Ketchum of New Orleans, La.; and a brother, James Haun of Ankeny.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Everett K. Burham, pastor of the First Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
