Wayne Wesley Weaver of Marshalltown, a former Winterset resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1980, at Marshalltown Community Hospital at the age of 68. Mr. Weaver had lived in Winterset most of his life, moving to Marshalltown in 1973.
Born on March 5, 1912, in Peru, he was the son of Tom and Edith Sanders Weaver. He was united in marriage to Lillian Lucille Beem on July 18, 1932, in Grant City, Mo., and his wife survives him. Mr. Weaver was an employee of the Rock Island Railroad.
Also surviving are a daughter, Barb Frederick of Marshalltown, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Collins Funeral Home with burial in the Peru Cemetery.
