Natalie Jayne Weidner, 20, died June 4, 1994 in her home in Council Bluffs after a long illness of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Funeral services were today, Wednesday, at Broadway Christian Church in Council Bluffs with the Rev. Wayne Ashlock officiating. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. at the Young Cemetery, east of Truro.
She was born May 6, 1974 in Des Moines to Keith and Kathy Wickett. She graduated in the top ten percent of her class from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1992 in Council Bluffs. Following graduation, she attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville Mo. where her interest was in geography. She was a member of the Bearcat Marching Band. She was also a member of the Broadway Christian Church in Council Bluffs.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers; including Joe Neidt of Truro.
Surviving relatives include her father, Keith Wickett of Marietta, Ga.; mother, Kathy Weidner and husband Scott of Council Bluffs; one brother, Jason Weidner of Council Bluffs; grandparents, Esther Neidt of Truro, Earl and Audrey Weidner of Forsyth, Mo, and Darlene Wickett of Indianola; and great-grandmother, Daisy Barnes of Truro.
