MRS. EDITH FROST DIES IN MICHIGAN

Mrs. Edith E. Frost of Portland, Mich., member of a formerly well-known Winterset family, died March 6 at a hospital in Lansing, Mich. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Frost was the former Edith Cornell of Winterset. She was born here Oct. 15, 1886, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cornell. Her father was cashier of the old Citizens National bank over a long period of years.

Mrs. Frost lived in Winterset until 1917, when she was married to Thomas I. Frost of Portland, Mich. He preceded her in death.

Nearest surviving relatives are a brother, J. Robert Cornell of Spirit Lake, Iowa; a nephew, Robert R. Cornell of Spirit Lake; and two nieces, Mrs. Arthur M. Handell of Dixon, Ill., and Mrs. Sue Sollner of Morley, Alberta, Canada.

Funeral services were held March 8 in Portland, with burial made in the cemetery there.
