Graveside services for Richard Whitney, 86, Winterset, who died at the Winterset Care Center South on Oct. 6, 1986, will be held Thursday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery in Adel.

Born in Dallas County June l6, 1900, he was a retired farmer and had lived here for 10 years, moving from Dallas County.

Survivors, include sisters, Hazel Hodges of Madrid, Corel Wagner of Sun City, Ariz., Helen Connor Philomath, Ore., and Marian Zunkle of Ogden.
