Services for Harold L. Wilcox, 71, St. Charles, who died Nov. 13, 1982, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, were held at 9:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Collins Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home at Keswick. Burial will be at the Sixteen Cemetery at Thornburg.
Mr. Wilcox was born in Sigourney Nov. 4, 1911, the son of Clinton and Ada Simpson Wilcox. He graduated from Keswick High School in 1929 and married Velma Snakenberg at Osceola Feb. 16, 1938.
He spent most of his life farming and retired in 1972. He moved to St. Charles in 1965 from Madrid.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rex of Des Moines; a daughter Charlene Hanson of Yankton, S.D., sisters, Lydia Wilcox of Sigourney and Faye Morse of North English, four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
