Betty M. Wilcox, 50, died Thurs., June 6, 1991 at Clarke County Hospital, Osceola. Memorial seervices were held June 10 at Kale Funeral Home, Truro, with the Rev. Tapiwa Mucherera of Truro officiating.
A lifelong Truro resident, she was born there February 6, 1941 to Gerald and Lillie (Goodrich) Myers. She married Robert Wilcox, Jr. September 3, 1960 in the Christian Church of Truro, where she was a member for most of her life. She was employed doing assembly line and manufacturing work at Furnace Electric, Osceola.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, her grandparents and three uncles.
Survivors incude her husband of Des Moines; three sons, Mark and Joe, both of Osceola, and Lonny of Indianola, her mother of Osceola; a brother, Leroy Myers of Truro; two sisters, Carol Clarke and Janice Hurd, both of Osceola; three grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Burial was in Hartman Cemetery, Madison County.

Memorial services were Monday at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro for Betty Marlene Willcox, 50, of rural Truro who died June 6, 1991, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
The Rev. Tapiwa Mucherera of Truro officiated at the 11 a. m. service. Burial was in Hartman Cemetery in Madison County.
Mrs. Willcox, the daughter of Gerald and Lillie Goodrich Meyers, was born Feb 6, 1941, at Truro. She graduated from Truro High School in 1959 and married Robert Willcox Jr. on Sept. 3, 1960.
Mrs. Willcox was a member of the Christian Church in Truro.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Rex Dean, grandparents, three uncles and an aunt.
Mrs. Willcox is survived by her husband, Bob of Des Moines, three sons, Mark Willcox and his wife, Rhonda of Osceola, Lonny Willcox and his wife, Dawn of Indianola, and Joe Willcox of Osceola, mother, Lillie Myers of Osceola, brother, LeRoy Myers and his wife, Dee of Truro, two sisters, Carol Clarke and Janice Hurd, both of Osceola, three grandchildren, Jason, Jessica and Sarah Willcox and step-granddaughter, Tasha.

Betty Marlene Willcox, daughter of Gerald and Lillie Goodrich Myers, was born near Truro, on February 6, 1941. She died at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola, on June 6, 1991, at the age of 50.
She married Robert Willcox Jr. on September 3, 1960. The couple were the parents of three sons.
Mrs. Willcox received her education in the Truro school system. Mrs. Willcox was affiliated with the Christian Church at Truro, since early life and was married there.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Rex Dean Myers; grandparents; three uncles and an aunt.
Mrs. Willcox Is survived by her husband, Bob, of Des Moines; three sons, Mark and his wife Rhonda, of Osceola; Lonny and his wife, Dawn, of Indianola; and Joe of Osceola, mother, Lillie Myers of Osceola; brother, LeRoy Myers and his wife Dee, of Truro; two sisters, Carol Clarke of Osceola, and her husband, Phil, and Janice Hurd, of Osceola; three grandchildren, Jason, Jessica and Sarah Willcox; step granddaughter, Tasha; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Memorial services were held June 10, 1991, at Kale Funeral Home, Truro, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tapiwa Mucherera officiating. Burial was in Hartman Cemetery in Madison County.
