MRS. BERTHA FORBES DIES AT 92 YEARS

Mrs. Bertha Dunlap Forbes of Couer d'Alene, Ida., last surviving member of the Dunlap family of Madison county pioneers, died Wednesday, April 8 at Couer d'Alene. She was 92 years of age.

Mrs. Forbes was born in Madison county Sept 27, 1872, daughter of Alex and Nannie Dunlap. For 45 years she was a school teacher, here, and in Couer d'Alene. She was the last surviving charter member of the Eastern Star lodge in Winterset, and has served as grandmatron of the Eastern Star in Idaho.

As a young woman she was married to Cary Forbes, who survives her. They observed their sixty-fourth wedding anniversary on Dec. 31.

Funeral services and burial were held Saturday at Couer d'Alene.
