Page 1Death of Leland Cramlet
Private funeral services for Leland Cramlet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Cramlet were held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at the Worthington cemetery. Leland had been ill with scarlet fever and diphtheria. He had seemed to be recovering when pneumonia developed and he died Wednesday. Reverend W. C. Porter conducted the funeral services.
Leland is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cramlet. He had started to school this fall, and would have celebrated his 6th birthday in April. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cramlet of Lincoln township and a brother, Robert. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barcroft.

A little son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cramlet who live south of Winterset was buried in the Worthington cemetery Thursday. He had recovered from Diphtheria and scarlet fever when he took pneumonia which caused his death.

Page 1, Column 6Ralph Leland Cramlett, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Cramlett, died Tuesday, December 23. He had been ill with scarlet fever and diphtheria later contracting pneumonia which caused his death.
Funeral services were conducted the day before Christmas at the Worthington cemetery, by the Rev. W. C. Porter.
________________________Coordinator's note: Of the two surnames, "Cramlett" is on his father's gravestone and appears to be what his father favored per other vital records but earlier generations used "Cramlet". He is buried in the Winterset Cemetery, 1910 Addition, Section G4, Lot 411 per the cemetery records, contrary to what the obituary says.
