Janice Lee Fife, Winterset

Services for Janice Lee Fife, 54, Winterset, who died May 20 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Wed. May 23, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Winterset April 20, 1936, she was the daughter of Fred and Wilma Cox Adkins. She was a retired secretary with the Iowa Department of Human Services in Des Moines.

A lifetime resident of Winterset and Madison County, she was married to David Fife on Sept. 30, 1969 in Winterset. She was a member of the Pitzer United Presbyterian Church and the American Business Women's Association.

Survivors include her husband and a sister, Donna Fastle of Earlham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-brother and step-sister.
