Charles H. Wilson, who moved from Winterset to Perry about three years ago, died Tuesday of this week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. D. Jones of Des Moines.
Mr. Wilson was an active business man in Winterset for more than 30 years, moving here from Adair county to engage in the produce business. He took an active part in the civic affairs of the town, in various capacities. He had a severe illness before leaving Winterset, but partially recovered his health and moved to Perry to engage in business there.
Funeral services were held in Des Moines today. The body will be brought here on the evening train for burial, and the Masonic fraternity will have charge of the service.
