Sharon K. Stanley, 49, of Adel, died of cancer Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001 at home. Services were held Jan. 2 at First Christian Church in Adel, of which she was a member. Burial was at Earlham Cemetery in Earlham.

Sharon Stanley was born in Des Moines and had lived in Adel most of her life. She had worked for Liberty Mutual and Seabury and Smith and was a clerk with Amoco Motor Club. She was member of Early Ford V8 Club of America and a past member of Adel American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed animals, gardening and antique car club touring.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; a son, Mike of Adel; a daughter, Pam Stanley of Des Moines; and a brother, Terry Noack of Berwick.
