MRS. LILLIE DUNCAN DIES AT 87 YEARS

Mrs. Lillie Duncan, life-long resident of the Truro community, died last Saturday, Feb. 6 at her home in Truro. She was 87 years of age.

Mrs. Duncan was born at Truro Oct. 25, 1877, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Secrease Foreman.

She was a member of the Christian Congregational Church at Truro.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Flossie Henson of Blockton, Mrs. Edna Wharff of St. charles, Mrs. Ona Pritchard of El Cajon, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Hamner and Mrs. Ruby Carlstedt of Des Moines; two sons, Ray and Darwin Duncan of Truro; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, in charge of the Rev. James Nicholson. Burial was made in the Fields cemetery.
