2001Mildred Madeleine Hickman, 87, of Windsor Heights died of heart failure Sept. 17, 2001, at her home.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 19) at Earlham Cemetery.
Mildred Hickman was born Jan. 15, 1914, to Howard and Nella (McKray) Hickman of Earlham. A resident of Des Moines since 1951, she had been employed as a clerical worker with the Daily Record in Des Moines. Mildred was a member of the Windsor Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
She is survived by a sister, Helen Hickman of Windsor Heights; and several cousins.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Windsor Presbyterian Church or Camp Sunnyside.
