Wednesday, January 28, 1981Stanley Dick Dies at 71
Stanley F. Dick died Sunday Jan. 25 at Winterset Care Center North. He was 71 years old.
Mr. Dick lived most of his life in Winterset, working in local grocery stores. He spent a few years living in California where he owned a laundromat before returning to Winterset.
Stanley was born August 26, 1909 in Madison County, the son of Franklin Dick and Della Imes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, father and mother, three brothers, Clair, Gailen and Floyd and one sister, Veda Jessup.
He is survived by two sons, Eric and Bruce and a daughter April, all of California, and two brothers, Earl of Winterset and Myles of Burlington.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Livingston officiating.
Military graveside services were held at Winterset Cemetery.
