1968HERSCHEL DAVIS OF DES MOINES DIES
Herschel B. Davis of Des Moines, a former resident of Winterset, died Dec. 1st in Des Moines, would have been 67 Christmas Day.
Mr. Davis was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. L. F. Davis of Winterset. He spent his boyhood in this community, when his father was pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. In late years he had engaged in the real estate business in Des Moines.
He is survived by his wife, the former Cleo Nunn of Patterson, two sons, and a sister, Frances of Florida.
Funeral services and burial were held last Wednesday.
