Services for Dale C. Davis, 77, rural Lorimor, who died April 4 at his residence were held at the United Methodist Church of Lorimor on April 7 with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at the Lorimor Cemetery.
Born in Union County on Jan. 12, 1911, he was the son of Dell and Millie Emery Davis. He was married to Ruth Landers on Dec. 11, 1930 in Winterset.
He was a farmer and a lifetime resident of Madison County.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary Davis of rural Lorimor; daughters, Ann Kirk of rural Lorimor and Sherry Corkrean of Winterset; brothers, Marion and Wayne, both of rural Lorimor; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
