MRS. LEVI WOLFE

Eliza Virginia Wolfe, wife of the late Levi Wolfe and daughter of the late William and Lucy Marquis, was born Nov. 27, 1859 in Clarke county, Iowa and passed away Oct. 24, 1923 at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 27 days.

On Nov. 7, 1883, she was united in marriage to Levi Wolfe of Clarke county. Four children were born through this union, Charles, who died in infancy; Alpheus and Glenn, both of Macksburg, and Mrs. H. V. Porter of Tifton, Ga. Those who will mourn her loss are the above named children, seven grandchildren and her four brothers: Joseph and A. B. Marquis of Farnhamville; W. P. Marquis of Woodburn and J. B. Marquis of Decatur City.

In childhood she was united with the Christian Union church, later transfering to the M. E. church of Macksburg.

Burial was in the Moon Cemetery.
