Margaret Ruth Corso, 86, of St. Louis Park, Minn., died June 3, 2001, in Olympia, Wash.

Services will be at a later date. Interment of the cremains will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn.

Margaret Corso was born April 26, 1915, in Salem to Algeron and Minnie Masden. She married Max Francis Corso on June 1, 1940, in Mt. Pleasant. Margaret, a retired teacher, taught at Winterset High School and Central Junior High School in St. Louis Park. She was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Alpha Xi Sorority, P.E.O., Eastern Star and Retired Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother.

She is survived by two sons, James Corso (wife Elaine) of Parker, Colo., and Michael Corso (wife Mary) of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
