Vincent Conner, Cumming

Vincent Conner, 72, of Cumming, died Oct. 3, 1994 in an airplane crash in the mountain terrain near Ft. McClellan, Ala. A memorial mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Cumming on Thurs., Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. Father Phillip E. Lawler will officiate. The cremains will be interred later at St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Catholic Church Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 5, 1922 in Cumming to Stephen and Gertrude (Dooley) Conner. He had spent most of his life-time in the Cumming area and was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Cumming. He was a retired iron worker and an army veteran of W.W. II.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include four brothers, Clarence Conner ofCumming, James Conner of Des Moines, Michael Conner of Cumming and Austin Conner of Cumming; and two sisters, Mary Snyder of Waukee and Irene Rosenberg of St. Paul, Minn.
