January 28, 1953MRS. NIS CHRISTENSEN DIES AT GREENFIELD
Mrs. Nis Christensen, long time resident of Adair county, died at her home in Greenfield, last Wednesday at the age of 87 years. Harry Christensen of Douglas township and J. O. Christensen of Winterset were among the 7 surviving sons. She also leaves two daughters.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church in Greenfield, and burial was made in the Brayton cemetery, in Cass county, near where she had resided prior to moving to Adair county.
