Phillip Carroll Caudle, 73, of Winterset, died Feb. 18, 1996 at his home. Graveside services will be Friday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Family visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
He was born in Madison County on Feb. 10, 1923 to Leslie Rudolf and May (Olsen) Caudle. He was a farmer and a lifetime resident of Madison County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son and one infant sister.
Surviving relatives include one daughter, Sheila Madlof and husband Stan of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sons, Wayne and Dean Caudle, both of Winterset and Larry Caudle of Louisville, Ken.; one brother Loren Caudle of Winterset; one sister, Sue Poe of West Des Moines; one uncle, Kenneth Olsen and wife Doris of Winterset; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Diabetes Association.
