Services for Virgil Cade, 60, De Soto, who died Sunday, Nov. 10 of a heart attack at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Faith Lutheran Church at Adel. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery near De Soto.
Born in Madison County Oct. 23, 1925, he was the son of Albert and Cecile Cade. On March 12, 1950, he was married to Marjorie A. Jensen.
A farmer, Mr. Cade was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church at Adel and the Fairview Cemetery board.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, James of Urbandale and wife Connie; a daughter, Jean Cade of De Soto; a brother Junior Cade of Van Meter; and a sister, Colleen Cade of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
