Charlotte Marie Wright, 72, of Osceola died of congestive heart failure Dec. 8, 2000, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
Private graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 9, at Hartman Cemetery of rural Truro with the Rev. L. Duane Churchman officiating.
Charlote Wright was born June 7, 1928, to John and Lois (Hammer) Nash of Indianola. A graduate of New Virginia High School, she married Howard Wright on Feb. 11, 1948, at the United Methodist Church in Osceola. Following their marriage, they resided in Truro. In 1991, they moved to Osceola. Charlotte had been the manager of the Madison County Senior Citizen Meal Site, retiring in 1991. She also had been a member of the Kitchen Band in Truro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a sister.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Teresa Cook, (husband Amos) of Truro; a brother, Elmer Nash of Murray; and two grandchildren.
