Billy Lee Wright, Sr., 52, died April 11, 1994 at Heartland East Hospital in Saint Joseph, Mo.
He was born May 19, 1941 in Cainsville, Mo. to Vern and Wanda Wright and married Janice Louise Pettit in 1962. He was raised in Adel and dedicated his life to law enforcement spending the past six years as Deputy Sheriff of Daviess County.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Surviving relatives include his mother; wife; four children, Terri Zeornes of Springfield, Tammy Stevens of Bethany, Toni Kneedler of Winterset and Billy Lee Wright, Jr., of Gallatin; three sisters, Janet Kay Beery of Des Moines, Janice Ann Bennett of Bethany and Kathy Jennings of Gainsville, Texas; one brother, Toby Wright of New Hampton; and eight grandchildren.
