Funeral services for Charles W. Zinn, 80, were held Fri., Jan. 4 at Fisher Funeral Home, Van Meter. He died of a heart ailment Tues., Jan. 1, 1991, at home.
Born in Humeston, he moved to Van Meter 38 years ago after living in Milo and Derby. He was a retired farmer and former Van Meter police officer.
Survivors include two sons, William of Des Moines and Albert of Fremont, Neb.; a sister, Gladys Foreman of Burlington, five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Burial was at Derby Cemetery, Van Meter.
