Robert O. Berry, Sr., Ankeny

Services for Robert O. Berry Sr., 58, Ankeny, who died last Friday from injuries in a construction accident in Ankeny, were held Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Ankeny Funeral Home. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Berry was born in Madison County and lived in Ankeny for 19 years. He was employed by Rhiner Plumbing Co., and was a member of the American Legion of Polk City and VFW No 9662.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry; sons, Robert Jr., and Rick, both of Ankeny; a daughter, Rhonda Neal of Grimes; his mother, Thelma Berry of Winterset; brothers, Charles Berry of Winterset and Lester Frank of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Catherine Farr of Winterset.
