Alice A. Bradshaw
April 10, 1910 - February 15, 1984

Alice A. Bradshaw was born to John C. Thrailkill and Amanda Holderbaum on April 10, 1910 in Madison County, Iowa. She attended Dexter school and was a school teacher for 18 years in Madison, Warren and Adair counties.

She was united in marriage to Stephen R. Bradshaw on August 25, 1937 at Albany, Missouri and moved to Dexter in 1944.

She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Carolyn Harris of Dexter; one granddaughter, Lee Ann Harris; three sisters, Cora Hunter, Orlando, Florida, Tillie Heifner, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Nellie Howell, Winterset, Iowa; and four brothers, Maurice Thrailkill, Macksburg, Iowa, Chester Thrailkill, Adel, Iowa, and Ray and Wayne Thrailkill of Orlando, Florida.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were conducted February 18, 1984 at the Penn Center United Methodist Church, rural Earlham, Iowa, with the Rev. Robert Farr officiating. Organ music was provided by Marcella McCleary. Pallbearers were Norman Bennett, David Boyle, Leland Pitcock, Marvin Bennett, James Faust and Steve Martens. Interment was in Penn Center Cemetery.
