Harry F. Lyle Dies Tuesday, May 3, After Being Injured Monday Evening
Harry F. Lyle passed away Tuesday, May 3rd at the Howard Hammans home near Lorimor. Mr. Lyle was employed by Mr. Hammans to assist him with the farm work. Monday evening he had gone after the cattle. Some little time later Mr. Hammans noticed the horse Mr. Lyle had ridden standing in the barn. He commenced to search for Mr. Lyle and found him lying in the pasture. His skull was fractured and he passed away the next day without regaining consciousness. His mother, Mrs. Mildred Clark of Missouri was summoned and funeral services were held Friday morning from the Tidrick funeral home. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery. Mr. Lyle was nineteen years of age. His father preceded him in death five years ago, passing away on May 3rd, as did his son.
The Reverend Mr. Williams of Lorimor, conducted his funeral services.
