Barbara Beebe, Winterset

Barbara Kay Beebe, 44, of Winterset, died of a respiratory ailment on Jan. 12, 1997 at Des Moines General Hospital. Funeral services will be today Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Winterset. Pastor David Elmore will officiate the services and burial will be at the Lorimor Cemetery.

She was born in Des Moines on Sept. 26, 1952, to Norman Eugene and Marian (Reed) Jones. She married Dan Beebe on June 7, 1970 in Winterset. She was an insurance underwriter for I.G.F. in Des Moines. She had been a resident of Madison County since early 1960. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Winterset and had taught Sunday School.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her father-in-law.

Surviving relatives include her husband; her mother of Patterson; three daughters, Brett Beebe of Winterset, Darcey Skokan and husband Bryan and Jennifer McKee and husband Rodney of Newton; mother-in-law, Vella Beebe of Winterset; one brother, William C. Jones of S.C.; two sisters, Diane Brown and Patricia Casson, both of Patterson; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Des Moines General Hospital Critical Care Unit.
