MRS. ANNA R. YATES Dies in California

Mrs. Anna R. Yates, a former resident of Winterset and Madison county, died recently at her home in Richmond, Calif., after a long illness. She was a native of the Macksburg community.

Surviving are five children: Mrs. Deliah Gorham of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Deloris Steele of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Shirley A. Meiring of El Sobrante, Calif., Gerald Yates of Richmond, I. E. Yates of Martinez, Calif., and Burton Yates of El Sobrante. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Busch of Richmond, and Mrs. Edith Arahood of Des Moines, Ia; a brother, L. E. Busch of Paulsboro, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday, July 23, from the Richmond Funeral home, with burial in Rolling Hills Memorial park there.
