Services for Steven M. Barr, 29, were held Fri. March 27 at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Des Moines. He died March 23 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, of injuries suffered in a March 17 auto accident.

Born in Winterset, he lived in Des Moines for 26 years. He was a press operator for Mid Central Plastics, West Des Moines and a member of Park Avenue Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Kristi; two sons, Travis and Matthew, both at home; his mother and step-father, Dee and Jerry Todden, his father and step-mother, Jim and Judy Barr, and a sister, Shari Barr, all of Des Moines; two step-sisters, Lori Todden of Des Moines and Delaine Goodwin of Indianola; two step-brothers, Kevin Todden of Ontario, N.Y., and Brian Beveridge of West Des Moines; and his grandmothers, Lois Barr and Polly Hill, both of Winterset.

Burial was at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
