KATIE ANDERSON DIES AT 95 YEARS

Mrs. Katie E. Anderson, formerly a well-known resident of the DeSoto community died Tuesday, Sept. 24, in San Antonio, Tex. She was 95 years of age, and had been living in San Antonio for the last eight years with her son, Terry Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson was born in DeSoto and lived most of her life in that community. Her husband, M. W. Anderson, died 12 years ago.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Anderson of San Antonio and Neil Anderson of Winterset; two grandchildren; and six great grandsons.

Funeral services and burial were held Sept. 28 at DeSoto.
