Anderson Rites Monday The 20th

Francis G. Anderson, 75, a farmer in the Peru community from 1953 to 1973, died Friday, December 17, 1976, at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. He was formerly a resident of the Marshalltown Veterans Home.

A native of Moline, Illinois, Mr. Anderson was born August 20, 1901, the son of Joseph R. Anderson and Hilma Peterson Anderson. A veteran of World War Two, he served as a private with the 319th Infantry.

A member of the American Legion, Mr. Anderson was affiliated with the Protestant faith. He is survived by one niece, Noan Frederick of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral services for Francis Anderson were conducted Monday, December 20 at 10 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Toso officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
